New corporate identity
Pascual’s Chairman, Tomás Pascual Gómez-Cuétara, presented the company’s new name and corporate identity today in Madrid.
In a logical continuation of its Strategic Plan, today also saw the launch of the company’s new corporate identity, which includes a change of name: Calidad Pascual S.A.U. (previously Grupo Leche Pascual S.A.U.). The new identity, accompanied by the slogan Tú, nuestra razón de ser (‘You, our reason for being’), effectively communicates Pascual’s two key principles: integral quality and people as the company’s core value.
What’s more, the new identity transmits Pascual’s values (integrity, proximity, passion, innovation and quality), establishing a direct and clear-cut dialogue with all its stakeholders.
Pascual recieves the 2013 Muévete Verde (Go Green) Award
Pascual Business Corporation has received the 2013 Muévete Verde (Go Green) award from Madrid City Council in the area of “General Mobility Plans and Actions”, given each year to the best public and private initiatives aimed at promoting a new culture of sustainable urban mobility in society as a whole.
The Environment Department of Pascual Business Corporation has created a cross-cutting Environmental Sustainability Plan for the whole company that encompasses all of its activities, with the emphasis on sustainability in the transportation of people and merchandise.
Grupo Leche Pascual receives the top score in the Ecostars environmental programme
In keeping with its environmentally-friendly programme, Grupo Leche Pascual, has received the top score (five stars) awarded by the Ecostars environmental certification system for its fleet of sustainable vehicles. With a total of 761 vehicles, not only is it Europe’s largest, but it is also the first food company fleet to receive it. The fleet is made up of almost 600 sales vehicles, 28 lorries and 137 trailers powered by alternative energy sources such as electricity, natural gas and autogas.
Through its European-wide seal, the Ecostars programme promotes the use of clean technology vehicles, with lower emission levels and good transport operation practices in order to save on energy consumption as well as encouraging the auditing and certification of goods and passenger carriers.
Philippine journalists visit Grupo Leche Pascual
The group of 8 representatives from the Philippine press received a warm welcome from Grupo Leche Pascual’s President Tomás Pascual Gómez-Cuétara at the Madrid offices during their tour of the company’s facilities.During the visit, Tomas Meléndez, Director of the International Division, provided a detailed exposition of the pasteurised yogurt products that Grupo Leche Pascual exports to the Philippines under the brand name Creamy Delight, created thanks to the joint venture with the Philippine-based company Asia Brewery.The programme of events also included a tour of the Aranda de Duero factory, where the journalists had the opportunity to obtain a first-hand insight into Pascual’s yogurt production process.

Leche Pascual, the first food company to receive the ISO 14001 enviroment standard certification
Bureau Veritas has awarded ISO 14001 environmental management certifications to Grupo Leche Pascual’s Madrid and Barcelona sales offices for their activities related to the sale, storage and distribution of food products, as well as coffee machine maintenance and repair services for the catering industry.
The ISO 14001 Standard certifies Leche Pascual’s environmental management systems in Madrid and Barcelona, which actively promote the protection of the environment and pollution prevention by recycling waste materials, cutting water consumption and implementing awareness raising campaigns for workers, as well as reducing energy use by 10% and applying a sustainable transport strategy.
Creamy delight launches a new campaign in Philippines
Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan and her son Benjamin are the brand ambassadors for the new campaign of creamy delight yogurts in Philippines. With the popular mother-son tandem as spokespersons for the brand, Creamy Delight Pasteurized Yogurt aims to build awareness with mothers and school kids on the benefits of yogurt as an alternative healthy snack.
Mother and son are all about life, love and health which makes them the perfect pair to spread the word about Creamy Delight Pasteurized Yogurt and to help educate the Filipino family on the importance of good nutrition and how yogurt can be a healthy habit for everyone to enjoy.

Grupo Leche Pascual venture with Asia Brewery to sell yogurt in Philippines
Grupo Leche Pascual has joined with Asia Brewery Inc. to form AB Pascual Foods, a firm that will sell pasteurized yogurts in the Philippines.
In a press briefing, Tomas Pascual, President of GLP, added that after AB Pascual Foods establishes itself in the market here, there would be a possibility that it would manufacture yogurt locally in the long run. The advanced technology used in the pasteurization process would allow the yogurt to be also available in the sari-sari stores as it does not have to be refrigerated.
Creamy Delight is made from 100% fresh milk collected daily from the dairy fields of Spain and controlled by the highest quality standards and comes in four variants: Flavours, Creamy, Yogikids, and Non-Fat.
Grupo Leche Pascual opens Europe’s first factory-school in Burgos
The President of Spain’s lower parliamentary house, Jesús Posada, attended the official opening of Europe’s first factory-school, set up by Grupo Leche Pascual in San Gabriel College. This initiative is the result of five years of close collaboration between San Gabriel and Grupo Leche Pascual. It is a pioneering project in Europe and a major step forward in Grupo Leche Pascual’s quest and passion for excellence, "an outstandingly bold and innovative initiative that will enable the province of Burgos to lay the foundations for a new economic and social model”.
The school is the final two-way link in the connection between training and business, and a key instrument in early vocational training. It also provides businesses with the opportunity to get back into the classroom, an essential and highly efficient means of guaranteeing on-going training and learning for sustainable companies within the framework of the new social and economic model that is now underway thanks to Grupo Leche Pascual.
Grupo Leche Pascual and Empresas Polar open a yogurt factory in Venezuela
Lorenzo Mendoza, Chairman of Empresas Polar, and Tomás Pascual Gómez-Cuétara, Chairman of Grupo Leche Pascual, recently attended the opening of the new yogurt production plant built thanks to the collaboration agreement entered into by both companies through Pascual Andina.
Grupo Leche Pascual has provided the machinery, technology, know-how and technical assistance for the new facilities. The first Leche Pascual plant to open outside Spain has been specially designed for the production of long life yoghurts which will be sold on the market “under the MiGurt brand name, offering a full range of types, flavours and formats at highly competitive prices. These products come with the guarantee of Leche Pascual’s long-standing experience in yogurt production and Alimentos Polar’s in-depth insight into the tastes of the Venezuelans”, declared Lorenzo Mendoza, Polar’s Chairman.
